The focus of the Visionary Research Fund is on discovery projects that are novel, early stage, or unlikely to receive funding from traditional sources. Faculty members at all career stages will be eligible to receive funding, with emphasis given to early- and mid-career researchers working independently or in interdisciplinary partnerships with senior investigators.
Supported by the Office of the Vice Provost for Research, apply for a CTAM award if you seek funding for prototype development, beta-testing, additional data generation and analysis, market research, and business plan refinement.
Through collaborations with Cornell experts and with matching funds from NY State, the JumpStart Program helps NYS small businesses solve identifiable problems related to materials.
