Biotechnology Management and Entrepreneurship Seminar Series 2006-2007
Founding and growing a biotechnology venture is no more difficult than developing any other type of entrepreneurial high-technology venture. However, the challenges are different in the life sciences area. As biotechnology initiatives around the world build momentum, it is critical to increase awareness of these opportunities and challenges at Cornell and throughout the region.This seminar series, broadcast live from the Lally School of Management at RPI, aims to bring in the latest and most diverse practices and thinking on emerging business models, legal, financial and other management issues. Speakers cover a wide spectrum of activities in the lifecycle of biotechnology entrepreneurship as well as focus on the unique benefits the biotech industry brings to the upstate NY region.
