Josh received his Ph.D. in Molecular and Evolutionary Systems Biology from the University of New Hampshire in 2021, with additional experience as a postdoctoral fellow at the Broad Institute. His research focused primarily on bacterial pathogen evolution, spanning studies of specific molecular mechanisms to longitudinal populations of more than 30,000 genomes. He loves learning about the evolutionary processes that have shaped life on our planet and sharing that enthusiasm through teaching. Within the Genomics Facility, he mainly works on high-throughput genomics projects.
