Internships provide a necessary 'real' experience for students interested in gaining first-hand insight on how small businesses work and to test their classroom skills on an active project in order to make a difference in the bottom line. Employers benefit from interns to get back-burner projects done, test drive a potential new employee, and add skills to their small team to advance essential projects.
The CAT subsidizes summer internships for juniors, seniors and first year MBAs at small life science companies in New York State.
For information on how to apply, for students or companies, see the Entrepreneurship@Cornell Program or explore the link in the menu at the top of this page for details. In addition, explore some regional possibilites through the links found on the page in the menu above.
