Aviti Sequencing (Genomics Facility)

The Element Biosciences AVITI is a mid-output benchtop sequencer built on Avidite Base Chemistry (ABC) and rolling circle amplification that circularizes, copies, and rolls each DNA strand into tightly bound polonies, then uses 4-color fluorescent dye-labelled polymers to create ultrastable complexes for highly accurate base detection (Q30 > 90%). The system offers a dual flow cell layout that supports up to 1.0 billion reads passing filter per flow cell, with read lengths of up to 2 x 300 bp and support for UMIs. The Aviti is compatible with single barcode libraries as the rolling circle amplification largely prevents index hopping. The Aviti is compatible with most Illumina-style adapters and libraries without requiring any conversion, with a few notable exceptions. Before submitting, please confirm your libraries compatibility on the Element Biosciences website.
