Center for Life Science Ventures

The Center for Life Science Ventures assists Cornell faculty, staff, students, and outside entrepreneurs in putting together companies based on Life Science technologies.

The Center provides consulting to anyone with interest in forming a life science startup.

The Center also admits a highly selected group of companies to the residential incubator program in Weill Hall on Cornell’s Ithaca campus.

Residential companies share extensive on-site laboratory facilities, receive intensive, field-specific mentorship, and enjoy faculty-level access to Cornell’s laboratory, information infrastructure and research facilities.

The Center helps the company grow from their entry state to “graduation” when they merit profitable independent operation, acquisition, or significant outside investment.

The Cornell Institute of Biotechnology, the Center for Advanced Technology, and the Center for Life Science Ventures form part of the continuum of life science entrepreneurial activity.
