New Epigenomics Facility

The Cornell Institute of Biotechnology is supporting an initiative identified by the the Provost's Genome Biology Task Force to deploy an epigenomics-focused core facility that will implement and end-to-end epigenomics research platform.

A primary goal of this effort is expected to integrate with Weill Cornell Medicine, whereby research medical specimens are interrogated by our epigenomic assays. The goal is to help diagnose diseases based on epigenomic profiles. Additionally, this resource will open up avenues of research that have been out of reach to Cornell investigators.

The operations of this epigenomics-focused core facility will rely heavily on services provided by the BRC Genomics and Bioinformatics Facilities as well as administrative support from the Institute.
