How to save your....

Experiment file

The experiment files will be in .atx (tube experiment) or .apx (plate experiments) format. You can import them later, all data will be contained in it.

  1. Right-click the experiment -> Export -> Experiment (for plate experiment this will say Plate)
  2. Save to FlowCyto Share X:\ drive under your folder. Create new folder with today’s date.

FCS files

  1. Right-click the experiment -> Export -> FCS files.
  2. Save to the FlowCyto Share X:\ drive under your folder.

PDFs

  1. Right-click the experiment -> Print.
  2. Select what workspace(s) to print -> OK -> OK
  3. Wait for blue bar to finish preparing the pdfs. (If this freezes, Cancel, window will pop up to save pdfs. Then, highlight remaining samples that were not included in first file, right-click -> Print)
  4. Select the FlowCyto shared network drive, your folder -> save.
Don't forget: Saving your data is your responsibility. We regularly delete experiments from our instrument's computers to free up memory.
