DNA sequencing (Sanger)
First option: Full service
You bring us your plasmid or your PCR product and we take it from here. We perform the Big Dye Terminator Cycle Sequencing, the Big Dye Terminator cleanup, and the template sequencing for you.
Users often choose this option when they have few samples. They find it cost-effective because they don't have to purchase a full tube of Big Dye terminator for only a few samples.
Other benefits of the full service:
- For difficult-to-sequence templates or samples needing special attention, we will modify standards conditions*.
- For templates that have a high-GC content or large constructs like BACs, we will use customized sequencing chemistries and do our best to make your project work.
*Additional charges may apply.
Second option: Ready-to-Load
You do the Big Dye reaction and clean-up yourself*. You bring us your samples ready to sequence in plates that we load directly into the sequencer. Optionally, we can do the clean up for you. We offer the clean-up service for a small fee.
If you have a lot of samples, Ready-to-Load may be the most cost-effective option for you.
If the template you provide is high quality and in sufficient quantity, we routinely produce up to 900 bases per reaction.
